What can I do to neutralize this crazy orange color? I need help!!!! Please!! My goal is to get my hair back to my natural hair color...which is dirty blond.... but right now I look like carrot top! :(

babygirl this happened to me so many times if u dye ur hair darker right now its not gonna take so leave ur hair be at least for 3 days i know it sounds like a lot but its not and its worth it cause if u do it right now its not gonna take and ur hair will become weak witch will make it fall out start deep conditioning it and dont brush ur hair when its wet because it will brake

You did not let the peroxide sit long enough. What happens when you go from dark to lighter color- as the peroxide is working it lifts off color and strips it away, it goes from dark brown to light brown to red to orange to blonde. Since you already dyed it twice, it may be better to go see a pro at a salon in order to save your hair from being fried. I do not recommend trying to bleach it again, your hair may actually come out in chunks if it gets really damaged.

dont do ne thing right now ur fryin ur hair ......im suprised it hasnt fallen out .........u can get a toner to help kinda dull it down....but besides that give ur hair a breather first then go to a hairstylist.........

Dye it back to blond and prepare to chop a bunch of it off. I did that same thing and had to loose a lot of length because it was so damaged from the stripping and dying.

Or if you just bleached it then get a stripping kit that will take the color out.

get a color remover and follow the directions.

but after 2 bleach packs may damage your hair beyond repair. BTW Bleach is not a color remover.

Bleach is a hair lightener.

Get a violet toner at the same level your orange hair is at now and equalize the shade.

or my best thought is go to a professional and let them fix it,. even a local beauty college if there is one close. What choice you make will be the difference in you getting back to that Blondie or a extreamly short style

u really need to give it a break or wind up with no hair. bleaching hair is really hard on hair and u need to deep condition and strengthen it back before u do anything else to it. i know that that will be hard to do but i would hate for it to break off on u. u could put a color sealer i think they make one maybe it's not called that but talk to your stylist about it and let her help u. i am not a professional, but i go to cosmetology school. To get rid of unwanted orange/red tones, you need to neutralize it with a blue based color. what makes orange? yellow and red. the remaining color left on the color wheel is blue. so there you go. but i wouldn't recommend you doing it yourself. see a professional, they are good at that stuff. hope it works out
