I have blonde hair and got blonder highlights a while ago. is dying your hair easier? cheaper? does it look better? faster?
b.t.w. i would do this at a salon
Should I retouch my all-over highlights or just dye my hair this time?
Although it seems as if this would be the cheaper/easier route - lightening your hair throughout will leave you with a distinct line of demarcation, brassiness, and a lot of damage. If highlights are done properly there should never be a line of demarcation which will allow you to go as long as you desire in between highlights. If you lighten your entire base color you will be faced with having to do touch ups every month and it will never look natural to the discriminating eye.
Ask your colorist to add some lo lites with a deposit pigment in the underneath layers to add some definition; and if the overall color is too light add a subtle layer of pigment throughout.
Be Colorful.

Hair glazes can be great - just make sure whatever you use doesn't have hydrogen peroxide in it - look on the very bottom of the box as well as the side for all of the ingredients. Another home remedy that works well for light blondes is tea - Just wash it through your hair.

I think light straeks look better I'd leave it alone

just re-hilight becuase it cost to much money to die your whole head and it just wastes your time!
