I had been doing my hair platinum blond for about 3 yrs my hair is naturally dark brown so now I do have damage. I decided to go red using manic panic vampire red. The question now is what developer should i use on my roots when they grow out for as little of damage as possible?

Okay, just do treatments twice a week.
The dying of your hair will not harm your roots, due to they have not grown yet.
Some good treatments are vegetable oil or olive oil, leave them for a few hours and wash them out with a very mild soap.
Do not use shampoos that dry your hair, it will continue to damage.
