Best hair dye???

im going to highlight my hair in a blond colour that is kind of a frosted look. im wondering does anyone know a cheap dye kit that will highlight it and is there a tool that only dyes it certain places and not all over??? also where would i get it off the internet

Best hair dye???

best one is jerome russell, b blond for men. its good and come with the cap so u pull through hair wherever u want and put the dye on. its good, it'll turn out blond and not yellow if u make sure to leave it on 4 the right time

Best hair dye???

Use high Lighter it's better for your hair

Best hair dye???

herbal essences make good higlights. just DON'T do miss.Blondissima.

Best hair dye???

It's a risk mate. When I first dyed my hair things went pretty badly wrong. What I would do is get a female friend who rergularly dyes her hair to help you do it. She will know a lot of good tips and have some practice in doing it.

Anyway that's my advice. I find that Revlon do some good hair dyes.

Best hair dye???

You want to look blond ? Are you for real ?

Best hair dye???

Loreal is a good brand

Best hair dye???

You are best off buying a proper highlight cap from a hairdressing supplies place as the ones you get in kits are rubbish. after that clairol, l'oreal %26amp; jerome russell are all pretty good but your results will also depend on how dark your hair is. Leave the highlighter on for the full time of your strand test or you could end up with dodgy looking colour.

Best hair dye???

hair dye is bad 4 u. its full of bad chemicals and stuff.

Best hair dye???

try bleach nice and cheap

Best hair dye???

try something called garnier multi lights kit. it costs something from 3.99 to 4.99 (in boots.) its easy to use and allows you to create highlights as you like. just make sure its mixed properly and used evenly on hair to ensure there are no patches.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

i had to strip my hair. my hair was black but now i want my natural hair back my natural haircolor is blond,so if i dye my hair to a blond would that be dying my hair too much?

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

1.you could go to www.timerenewal.com (it's pantene-the shampoo) and take the quiz. you could the use shampoo they suggest. they have a shampoo that is just for hair that has been through alot. it takes away the damage.

2. you could lay off on the dyeing until your hair is healthy.

3 you could take vitamins (see what vitamins help you hair become healthy.)

-- i think you should try all that.

hope this helps.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

Just give it a month before doing it again.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

it will evetually lead to hair loss, but i would advise to just let your hair fade out into its normal color. but if you really need to, color it and then just wait for your normal color to come back. just make sure you use good hair products to protect your hair, maybe try the pantein renewal.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

I think if you wanted it back to the natural color wait until the natural color somes through go to a professional salon for them to match your natural color dye it and then let your hair grow and cut it until you finally get all that dye out that. way it's not so noticable. I personally like natural hair color on anyone...

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

Believe it or not, plain old household bleach is best when it comes to dying your hair blond. It has the least amount of side effects. If you have no Bleach around, perhapps you have some nair.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

It is just not very healthy for your hair, i mean if you keep applying colors to your hair its just like slapping one color after another on to your hair. I would just ask a hair color person.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

It to breaks off at the regrowth line. Yes, leave your hair alone for a while. Concentrate on other things.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

it gets brittle and breaks

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

nope just do it nothing going to happen

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

YOUR HAIR WILL BEGIN 2 FALL OUT!!!!!!IT'S BEST U GO TO AN HAIR DRESSER.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

this borders on "too much" but if you choose a color specialist in a beauty saloon they will be able to help you...the hair "outside" your scalp is dead hair and therefore what you do to it (dye, perm, strip) is permanent damage and it will not repair itself. the new growth is the "live" hair....use a good conditioner and take the advice of the hair specialist and your will be ok with hair stripping and dying...

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

Stripping, dying, bleaching, etc., too much will eventually damage your hair to the point where it will start breaking off. What you need to do is talk to your beautician, and ask how long you should wait before doing anything else to your hair. In the meantime, condition it daily, so that when you do dye it back it will be healthy enough and won't get damaged further.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

dont do any thing you will get natural color

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

sometimes it leads to hair loss

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

it is a bit. wait a bit before dying ur hair again. it's unhealthy for ur hair 2 be dyed too much. i'm not sure but i doubt ur hair will look the same as it did when it was natural. ur hair may be weaker. but onc again not positive.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

I think it makes your hair crispy. It burns it.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

Your not dying it when your removing black color, your stripping it. Dying hair is when you add color. If you have stripped your hair and its pretty light without breakage you can put a mild deposit only light blond color on. Just make sure the product you use is not "lifting" or removing any more color. Also, a deep conditioner before any more chemicals would be good. If you are doing this at home beware! It is never a good idea to do your own hair. An experienced colorist familiar with bleach is your best bet.

What happens if you dye your hair too much?

going darker is less damaging than going lighter. going lighter has more chemicals, therefore damaging your hair. yet, if you keep dying your hair, it could infact lead you to unhealthy hair and maybe even hair loss...

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

i have blond, shoulder length, curly hair. it's really frizzy, and strait hair is just easyer to put in a ponytail for school. but, i have to blow-dry it, then straiten it. and i don't hate my curls, but strait hair is just easyer, so iam asking for some pro's here, will it take away my curls, or make my hair strait in the future? cause that's not what i want either!

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

NO it makes no difference. I have naturally curly hair, it is a total pain. I straighten it every 3 to 4 days as the irons will ruin your hair if you straighten it daily. I am in the same boat as you with washing it, drying it and then straightening it, it takes forever but that's life. be glad you can have straight and curly hair. When I moan at my mates for having curly hair they wish they had my hair as hers is straight only so in one way you have the best of both worlds, especially when curly comes back out you wont have to do so much work to your hair.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

No..

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

My hair has got curlier since I've been straightening it, but I don't think that's got anything to do with it....

Straightening your hair will NOT make your hair naturally straight. Your natural hair is your natural hair. That's like saying that ironing your clothes every day will make them start to come out the washing machine already ironed...it just doesn't work like that. You get your hair type because the little holes that the hairs come out of are a special shape, you can't change the shape of them just by making them a bit warm! Be careful not to damage your beautiful curly hair with the straighteners. Don't move the straighteners to slowly down your hair and always use heat protective spray.

And finally, do you REALLY have to straighten your hair every day? It surly can't be TOO curly....

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

My dear, you are trying to fight genetics.....and you can't win.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

No. It will make your hair go fizzier and in worse condition but won't change the chemical bonds in your hair.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

No, your natural hair is your natural hair. That's like saying that ironing your clothes every day will make them start to come out the washing machine already ironed...it just doesn't work like that. You get your hair type because the little holes that the hairs come out of are a special shape, you can't change the shape of them just by making them a bit warm!

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

no it will not it will just damage it and make it 100 times worse... trust me.. you wont just have curly hair youll have frizzy split hair, my hair was straight before i started to straighten my waves... now.. my hair is all bushy and frizzy ::(

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

No, because your natural curly hair is in your genes and once your hair grows out (or is replaced by new hair strands) it would be curly again. Or when your straightening wears off. So it won't be naturally straight but only on the days you straighten it (unless you got for chemically straightening it or rebounding it).

Besides, after washing your straight hair, doesn't it go back to being curly again?

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

No, no, no. it'll simply become a dozen times frizzier not to mention damaged.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

I dont know abt that(taking ur curls away forever) but i sure know that u r damaging alot. U shuld apply hair masks on regular basis. Another thing is that why dont u go for hair rebonding.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

no

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

Wel it will not make it go away forever, BUT your curls would not be as tight as they used to be. My hair is really curly and ever since I started blow drying my hair and using falt irons to straighten my hair My curls were mostly loose and not as tight as they used to be.

Will Straitening Your hair (about every day) make your natural curly hair go away?

no..it will damage you hair...A lot....makes it frizzy..it practically burns your hair

What colors should I two tone my hair?

I want to dye my hair two toned. But I am not sure the best way to go about doing it. Such as where to I part it. And I already have Coffee brown dye should I use it for the bottom and do Blond on top.. Or do black and red.. Or blond and black.. I need help. I have Green eyes and A fair skin tone. Help please. Also I want to go to Walmart to get the dye, I am pretty good at doing my own hair. But if I do blond what is a good kit? Aslo wright now my hair is like muti colored it was black/Blue. With blond and silver highlights. Then it faded.

What colors should I two tone my hair?

the way i imagine it, your hair is a few steps from the rainbow. over-treatment of hair causes its damage and eventual death. i suggest you first "wash off" all the existing dye. treat your hair with hot oil and then you can start from there.

you can achieve the best two tone if you start with your natural hair color. dyes react to each other. you cannot really predict the outcome color with that multi-layer of dyes in hair

What colors should I two tone my hair?

blonde on top brown on bottom. best ever. %26lt;3

What colors should I two tone my hair?

I think that copper-colored highlights go well with brown hair. It also goes well with the fall/winter season.

What colors should I two tone my hair?

red on top, dark red on bottom

blond on top, dark blond/light brown on bottom

purple on top, blue on bottom

dirty blond on top, bleach blond on bottom

black on top, blond on bottom

black on top, red on bottom

also,

blond highlights on darker blond colors

light brown or beach blond/ dirty blond on darker shades of brown or blond

blue hightights on red, brown, or blond

white highlights on red or black

Hair Laser? How many dark haired, fair skinned women are?

sick and tired of excess/noticeable hair. I have hair on my face and arms and other places that is noticeable on me whereas my blond friends have hair there too but its not noticeable at all. I'm really frustrated and jealous of those natural blondies. Regardless-Has anyone had laser hair removal and is happy with their results?? Does it hurt (they (people who work lasers) say it doesnt but I'd like to ask someone who has had it done). Also, was it noticeable for you your first treatment. Has the hair reappeared with a vengeance. Are you happy you did it?? Anything that you could or would like to share about this is encouraged. Thanks.

Thanks.

Serious answers only please.

Hair Laser? How many dark haired, fair skinned women are?

Well i had the same problem and i received laser treatment, and i am more than thrilled with the results! u can see clear results from the first session, but u have to go on for at least 6 sessions. The pain is quite bearable, in fact it hurts less than waxing, the only problem is that it is expensive and has to be done by a professional doctor, otherwise it can lead to serious burns.

Hair Laser? How many dark haired, fair skinned women are?

I, personally, haven't done it, but my friend had her underarms done. she says it really works. You have to do it i think a total of 4 times before they go away completely. but she says that after they did it the first time, her hair did grow back a lil bit, but it was really thin almost invisible. and she says she is a bit soar after she gets it done. but it really works.

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

I dyed my hair dark brown two weeks ago. I started out as a blond and I tried to do my roots myself. The dye burned my skin so i had to rinse it out too soon, and i was left with orange roots. So i dyed it all brown and i hate it! How long should i wait until I can go get my hair professionally done, like big blond streaks all over?

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

I would wait about 2 weeks. The same thing happened to me and the salon told me to wait that long. If you go too soon your hair will be very brittle and there might even be a chance they won't color you.

If you are really worried go into the salon and they can give you an idea of what they will have to do and how soon they can do it..

Good luck...I hate bad hair dyes.

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

I'd recommend to go into a salon and ask. They would be able to help you with the issues.

Its really hard to give you an estimate without seeing what your hair looks like, even with the given description.

If your hair feels very brittle or dry, you can expect to wait awhile.

Any further processing when your hair is that weak will just make it even worse! It could start to break off at the root, come out in chunks, or the color you're replacing it with could turn out waaaay off.

Again, ask a pro...

Good luck hun!

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

Between 4 and 6 weeks after you color your hair, the natural color of your roots will start showing, and that's the time to re color.

If you just don't like the color and want to change it again, I'd wait at least three weeks, or check with a professional hairdresser.

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

Atleast two weeks

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

Ou! Sooo sorry! For one, don't do anything until your scalp/skin is back to normal. In the meantime, you will have to search for someone/salon that has experience with color correction - very important!

It might cost a little more, but think of it this way: it's only a 1 time deal and after that you can go anywhere - if not, you risk damaging your hair further, that will result to cutting a lot of it.

Also, don't try to lighten it to much too quickly and let whomever will do the correction know whether it was a red based or ash (non-red) based brown - it will affect outcome!

Been there - that's how I know.

Good luck!

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

2 weeks, but girl, the bleach is gonna burn your scalp if you are really sensitive to the chemicals. if it does burn, wash your hair with bio-kur, it will stop the burning and itch. the stylist is gonna have to fix those roots, then do the bleach after, so i guarantee you that your scalp is gonna hurt. that's why you get it done professionally from the start.

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

I think u should try this

try to put some dettol on the spoiled hair dettol removes the colour very fast

and then may be next week u can colour your hair as u want

try it could help

How long to i have to wait to color my hair again?

I would go see a Salon Professional. You should wait at least 2-3 weeks before going. Because of your burnt scalp. Wear it up in a pony tail until then hun. Because you gonna end up burning it again. I know been through that Too.

Just ask a hair stylist before you try something else. You don't want the worst to happen, my sister in-law lost lots of hair. Almost bald... She never put on color again that often.

Well I hope this helps. Good Luck!!! =)

I am a brunette if i put lemon juice on my hair will it turn it orange? or can it turn my hair light

i want a little lighter hair will lemon juice turn it lighter? or wmake it make it more orange? i also heard salt water can help ur hair be more blonder, is it ture?

I am a brunette if i put lemon juice on my hair will it turn it orange? or can it turn my hair lighter?

My grandmother is mulatto and she told me she used to rub half a lemon on her head. Gives her hair shine and lightened it slightly (no different than sun-in or one of those products).

I am a brunette if i put lemon juice on my hair will it turn it orange? or can it turn my hair lighter?

lemons are acidic(which can eat the paint off a car) so don't do it. It will not do what you want it too.

I am a brunette if i put lemon juice on my hair will it turn it orange? or can it turn my hair lighter?

Lolz

I do not think so but you sure can bleach it just dont bleach it long if you do not want it blonde!

What blond should I go and also a question?

your links don't work on here

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

like... blond's hair is thin and red-head's hair is thick??

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

Well I have "dishwater blonde" hair and my hair is kind of thick,I think it all counts on your genes, like if your dad has thick black hair and your mom has thin blonde hair,you8 might turn out like I did,I have a cross between their 2 colors with natural highlights and I have pretty thick hair, but its also very soft.

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

i don't think so

i know a girl her hair is suuuuper thick and blonde

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

I don't think so....

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

not related!

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

Not necessarily. Some may have thicker hair than others but it does not matter what color hair they have.

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

I don't think so.

And I know a gir with red hair who's hair is thin!!1

Does your hair color really have to do with the thickness of your hair?

I don't think so..... My hair is naturally dirty blonde, and my hair is really thick. I know blondes and brunettes with really thin and really thick hair..... (Not many natural redheads, but I'm assuming it's the same with them.) ;-D

My hair is weird...?

So in unnatrual light my hair is really really dark brown, but when Im outside my hair gets like strawberry blond so blonde with really dark and really light streaks. What color is my hair?

My hair is weird...?

From a professional's perspective, if your hair has blonde highlights, you are a blonde. You can be a light blonde through very dark blonde that most people would think was brown. If you have red highlights, you are a brunette.

My hair is weird...?

maybe the color of your avatar.. im not sure. i have border-line black hair too, but in the sun it looks reddish-brown.

My hair is weird...?

u shouldnt worry bout that cuz when ur in the sun ur hair gets like a lighter color even though it may be really dark...so0o0 when ur not in the sun thats ur natural hair color.=]

Help flame orange hair from bleach job :( can this be fixed?

I am trying to go from red hair to light blond. Just bleached my hair and not it is flaming orange. How soon can i bleach it again or what would take the orange out? Because i will not go in public till this is fixed. Please help any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Help flame orange hair from bleach job :( can this be fixed?

how dark is the orange?

go to your nearest beauty shop, like Sally's, and grab a purple-based toner. That will neutralize the orange and leave behind an ashy cool blond.

(you'll have to mix it with a developer, so if you don't already have a bottle of that, you'll have to pick up one too, preferably in a 30 or 40)

Help flame orange hair from bleach job :( can this be fixed?

The best is go to a salon and quick. You can damage your hair sooo bad. I went from brown to bleaching my hair blonde to dyeing it bright red the same day. My hair was like a wig. It was sooo dry and gross...I had to go to the salon to fix it.

When can I redye my hair, and will it fall out?

First time I dyed my hair was December of 2006.

Second time was in February of 2007.

Third time was in August of 2007.

I still have the blond in my hair from dyeing it in August, but I want to dye the blond back to my natural color [black]. My mom said no because it'll fall out, and I'm trying to tell her you only have to wait like 3 months to redye it, and its been I think about 4 or 5? Possibly longer.

So especially for professional hair stylists, will my hair fall out if I dye the blond back to black? My hair was already course as it is, and now it's sort of fried and dried. But I seriously don't think it'll fall out.

So yeah, help would be good.

When can I redye my hair, and will it fall out?

It will not be stressful to your hair like the blond. After you dye your hair black (if you choose to do so) trim the ends and make sure you deep condition (sitting under a dryer, with conditioner in your hair with a shower cap on) it alot to restore your hair, try Redken products, or you may want to do that first to restore your hair and let some of the natural color come back on its own, and then dye it back black. Stay away from anything harsh on your hair if you can, that also helps. Good luck.

Scene Hair Please?

I love scene hair, but i don't want to change my hair color, I'm a natural blond kind of. My hair is naturally multi color from light brown, to like plain blond. Please show images so i can take them to my stylist. My appointment is in a few days so yeah need them soon. Thanks for your help.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

no/no

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

GREAT HOW ABOUT MY OPERA SINGER LADY FOR A DATE

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

i have dark brown and i went blonde and it really jacked up my hair i don't recommend u do it try somthing darker not as light as blonde

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

You can get cancer from dying your hair, but other than that, you're pretty safe.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

no your hair looks nice you could almost pull off teddy gieger!!

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

If you are looking for a girlfriend......for heavens sakes....stay away from the hair dye! Be a real person and decent haircut would do you wonders!

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

i like ur hair the way it is but if you want to change it im sure blonde would look good. go to sally beauty supply and they will help u pick the right product. girlfriends r trouble. ud b better off investibg in an escort!!!!!!!!!!

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

no, i think your hair looks fine dark. and the safest hair dye, is henna hair dye, 100% natural!

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

probably safer than drinking the local tap water that you bathe in

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

i think so maybe blonde with a bit of brown

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

I think you look lovely with your present color. Only dye your hair if YOU want to. Not because you think it will attract girls....

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

u might actually look good in HIGH LIGHTS......blonde maybe??

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

First of all don"t dye it blonde i LOVE that color second of all if you really do want to dye it blonde, with dark hair dont do it yourself because you can really mess it up try getting it professinally done.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

Don't do it! A hair cut wouldn't hurt tho'!

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

If you dye your hair, then you're running the risk of loosing hair. In other words, go bald. My aunt dyed her hair and she has to continue dying it because it would go back to her natural color. Then after a while, she started to loose a lot of hair. Better think before you decide to dye your hair. That's not the best solution to find a girl.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

LiKE GET iT DONE PROFFESiONALLY SO YOU DON'T **** iT UP...LOL...i TRiED TO DYE MY HAiR BLACK ONE TiME AND iT SUCKED...HAHA...BUT iF YOU CAN'T USE KOOL AiD AND PEROXiDE!=) iT REALLY WORKS...=)*AND YES YOUR HAiR WOULD LOOK GREAT BLONDE BUT i THiNK THAT YOU SHOULD DO BLONDE Hi LiTES AND KEEP THE REST BROWN...OOH AND iF YOU WANNA LOOK EMO((EMO GUYS ARE SOO HOT)) JUST DiE YOUR HAiR BLACK...THAT'S HOT%26gt;

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

Hair dye is safe and nice cover up for asking about a gf. Any hair dye is good.I like Loreal...Seems to cover the best.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

You should be happy with who you are. Why change your appearance ? If people can't take you as you are then why are you with people that are so plastic. Be yourself and don't act like someone else.Being an *** doesn't really help at all. Don't dye

your hair. The more you dye the more hair you will loose, and then you'll regret because your bald.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

Dye isn't good for your hair, but there are some natural products that actually improve it. And no, I don't think it would look good blond! Too much of a contrast. Natural is best, but if you want a change or want to make your hair healthier/shinier try this stuff:

You'll have to actually go to the store to see which colours will work best though.

PS - it's not permanent, so if you don't like it, it will wash out over time.

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

blondness is a sign of stupidity

Should I dye my hair, is hair dye safe?

the products that use u cna always buy them in the drug store or something. your hair wouldnt look so good in blond. try brown.

it depends on your products. I say you buy a more trusted brand of hair dye or go to a hair salon to get it done. If you do go to a hair salon ask how you can keep the color from fading.

Ok this is a hair problemo?

ok, i am naturally blonde, but i dyed my hair brown, but it kinda turned a reddish brown, I HATE MY DYED HAIR COLOR! i wanna go back 2 blonde, is there a way i can get it out? or can I dye my hair from (my dyed) brown hair and then dye it blond? or do i have 2 take out the brown dye, and then dye it blonde? HELP%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

Ok this is a hair problemo?

go to a hair salon and have them remove the dye, and it will restore your natural hair color. it might be costly, but worth it right? =)

Ok this is a hair problemo?

Buy those dye colors that u can buy at pharmacies at etc. ..

Ok this is a hair problemo?

find a stylist that knows corrective color, you will you have to take it and then go back blonde.. and there is know guarantee on corrective color

Hair dye dilemma?

My hair is currently dyed brown but the colour fades really quickly as my hair is naturally blond, so I want to give up on being brunette and go back to blond altogether. Would I need to have this done at a hairdressers so they can lighten it first before putting on the blond, or should a home kit work?

Hair dye dilemma?

I would go to the hairdressers. It's better to spend the money and have it done right than mess it up and have to spend the money anyways.

Hair dye dilemma?

i would just do it by myself. my cousins a hairdresser and always tells me off for this but i say do ittttttt

Hair dye dilemma?

Hi there I have actually done it before. Went to the hairdresser and prayed that my hair wouldn't fall out. I know this may seem strange but after you have stripped your hair colour rinse for a few weeks with vinegar diluted in water... I know you'll smell a bit like a fish and chip shop, but it really does work miracles...

Hair dye dilemma?

You need to go and have it done professionally. A home kit won't work because tint won't lift tint. The colour will need to be stripped out.

Hair dye dilemma?

If you want to dye it, yes, i would go to a reputable hairdresser.

However, things such as henna can be used at home for blonde or brown (or black or red, hehe) try www.lush.com .

Also - if your hair is lightening naturally, why not just let it grow back to original colour? It may look silly, i dont know, ive never seen it happen - but it sounds like it could save money and chemicals on your hair.

:]

Hair dye dilemma?

actually it probally fades becasue if its a home care kit, then everytime u wash ur hair a little comes out ur best bet is to get a permanet hair color and try not to wash ur hair evryday or at lest not more than 3 time a week if u can or something, plus washing ur hair everyday can cause u to get lice.

Hair dye dilemma?

Dye removal is best done by a GOOD hairdresser. It can be done at home but very risky and can do a lot of damage. There are dye strippers on the market you can try but if the salesperson hasn't ever been trained as a stylest, they can lead you down the wrong path. If you know a good stylest, listen to their advice. The best products, will depend on your hair type. Good luck....

Hair dye dilemma?

Hi

My hair was blonde originally but I dyed it brown. I decided I wanted it light again so I went to the hairdressers and got lots of highlights put in. I wouldn't do it myself.

Hair dye dilemma?

you should just let it go back to its natural color because if you continue to dye it , you will damage it a lot .

Hair dye dilemma?

you should really go 2d hairdressers,a girl i no had her hair dark put blond in her hair and her her started to break so she then had to get her hair cut really short.

Hair dye dilemma?

please do not do it yourself, i was in the exact same position a week ago

like ppl are suggesting i did it myself

it came out awful

it could ruin your hair

i had to go to the hairdressers

so if i were you i wiould just go to the hairdressers believe me it saves you time and money and you know its gonna look better

Hair dye dilemma?

It you leave it alone for a few weeks, it should go lighter and fade out. Then you can dye your hair a blonde colour if you want to or go to the salon. Salon rpices are expensive though.

Hair dye dilemma?

go to the salon that way it's guaranteed to work...

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

Last night, my mother dyed my hair a blonder color, but accidently left it in too long, so my hair is now unnaturally blonde. Sunday night, she cut it, and it felt a little like a wig - it doesn't even reach my chin now, and I'm not used to it.

Now that it's an ugly color of blonde, it feels more like a wig than ever. Is there ANY way I can get rid of this hair dye QUICKLY? I've uploaded Before/After pictures to help =3

Before (after haircut, though xD): http://img28.picoodle.com/img/img28/9/9/...

After: http://img37.picoodle.com/img/img37/9/9/...

PS: o_O Please don't insult the way I look. XD

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

Best thing to do is to re-dye your hair a little darker. But sweetie don't feel terrible about it. Try to learn how to style your hair. Anti-frizz serums would definitely help you, and so as mousse.

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

And you look better too catherine! Try to be a little bold as regards to styling your hair. Maybe you could get a trim from a professional hairdresser too. Report It

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

It doesn't look THAT bad really, I think you just need to try straightening it a little and styling it with some mousse or gel.

Anyway, there's no way to 'remove' what bleach does to your hair, unlike when you add a colour, such as black, and it may fade with washes.

Minerals in ordinary water can contribute to a slight goldening/darkening of bleached blonde hair, which is why people who bleach their hair really light need to use special purple pigment shampoos and conditioners.

This probably won't darken your hair much though.

You CAN, however, dye it a little darker with a light brown colour.

Take note that you'll probably have to add a little red also or else it won't work.

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

steps in hair dye removal

Removing a Lighter Hair Dye From Your Hair

Steps

1Step OneIf you had your color applied in a salon and you aren鈥檛 happy with the results, let your hairstylist know as soon as possible. Your stylist should book you another appointment during which she will determine why you are unhappy with your color and perform a color correction. There should be no charge for this procedure.

2Step TwoIf you colored your hair lighter than your natural color, the only solution is to color your hair again. You can only remove hair dye if the color is darker than your natural color. Even then it can be difficult to remove all traces of the dye.

3Step ThreeIf the color ended up too light, you can attempt to fix it by re-coloring your hair a shade or two darker. Choose the dye one shade darker than your natural hair color and apply according to the manufacturer's directions.

4Step FourIf the hair color turned out much lighter than you anticipated or you hate your new light color and want to go back to your darker natural color, there may be an extra step involved. All colors of hair have what is called an 鈥渦nderlying pigment." The underlying pigment for blond hair is yellow. Light browns have an underlying pigment of orange, while medium to dark browns have an underlying pigment of red. Even if you don鈥檛 want red hair you will need to replace that underlying pigment in the hair鈥檚 color before going from blond back to brown. Skipping this step will result in green hair (green is the color opposite of red). In the absence of any red in your hair color, it will look extremely 鈥渁sh鈥?or have a greenish tint to it.

5Step FiveThis is a tricky procedure that is not recommended for the layman hair colorist! It is strongly recommended that you seek a professional stylist when correcting this type of hair color correction. If you choose to do it yourself, call the hair dye manufacturer to speak to their trained advisers. Explain exactly what color you used and what color you want your hair. The customer care representatives should advise you on the correct procedures.

6Step SixIf you had dark brown hair and tried to color your hair a light blond but ended up with an orange-hued mess, you will also need a color corrective procedure. Often, at-home kits don't include a strong enough developer (peroxide) to change your brown hair into beautiful blond. This results in the hair color getting 鈥渟tuck鈥?in the color of its underlying pigment, orange.

7Step SevenIf this is the case, you will need to either color your hair a darker shade or attempt to lighten it again to the proper color level. In either case it is strongly advised to seek either a professional stylist or the advice of the color kit manufacturer's help line.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

Consecutive color applications in a short amount of time can be very drying to the hair. If your hair is even the slightest bit on the dry side, be sure to give your hair a deep conditioning treatment before you attempt to color it again.

How to Remove Hair Dye That Is Too Dark

Steps

1Step OneIf you decided to try on a darker shade of hair color only to have it turn into a nightmare, rest assured that steps can be taken to correct this blunder. The key is to act as quickly as possible for best results. It is much easier to remove dye from your hair if the color is just a few days old.

2Step TwoTry L鈥橭real鈥檚 Color Zap for a quick at-home reversal of your color blunder. This easy-to-use kit works after one application, gently removing dye from your hair while leaving your natural hair color intact and ready to re-color. This product works even on permanent hair dye.

3Step ThreeIf your new hair dye is only marginally darker than desired, you may want to try prematurely fading it. If the color you used was a semi-permanent color, rest assured that these colors fade quickly on their own and the process can be sped up by simply washing your hair more often.

4Step FourIf your too-dark hair dye is permanent, it can sometimes be faded by washing with a clarifying shampoo. Use one that is designed to remove product build-up or chlorine build-up from swimmer鈥檚 hair. These shampoos remove anything coating the hair shaft, including excess pigment.

5Step FiveClarifying shampoos not doing it for you? Try using Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo. This shampoo has long been known for its ability to strip color from hair. If you really need to fade your too-dark hair quickly, try shampooing with Head and Shoulders until your hair fades to the desired shade.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

If you are thinking about coloring your hair darker but you aren't sure how thrilled you will be with the results, try using a semi-permanent hair color first. These dyes will give you all the fabulous color you want, but without the commitment. They wash out in 4 to 6 weeks, at which time you can opt for permanent dye.

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

It wouldn't be the best thing to do, but you could dye it again right away...

Also to help the shape of it, you could flat iron it.

I tried to dye my hair dark brown once and ended up with really dark scary-wig black, and after a frantic trip to the drug store and two boxes of blonde hair dye, I got it to pretty much the same color I had before. That being said, my hair isn't as healthy as it was.

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

well u do have a problem on ur hand but it is not as big as u think. Seriously ur new hair colour does not look like a wig, and it will look better if u can get that wavy hair style thing sorted out. and comb ur hair a lot. There is no way u can lose hair colour unless and until it is not a 1 day hair dye(which i know it is not). try redying ur hair. Hair dye stays in the hair for a long time. the only solution i see for u is too redye or too be happy with ur colour( it is not that bad. Believe me i have seen bad and i know when i c 1) and ur is not bad.

Best of Luck

Removing hair dye quickly-- Help!!?

nothing more different friend, just go for regular shampoo wash daily , ur hair at prestent seems to be rough after dye.

no broblem ,just tight your hair with some hair style, dont keep loos hair atpresent. no way to remove hair dye.

and also for hair care and skin care just in

I'm platinum & want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

My hair is down to my butt. I refuse to go to a hair salon anymore for more reasons then one. I want plumb/red/brown hair. The last time I dyed my hair red, I used temporary dyes by Loreal. The color was beautiful! So I decided this was my color %26amp; I went permanant. I bought a permanent color by Herbal Essence that was exacltly the color I wanted but in tiny print "Not for blonds", but since my hair was a very dark, dishwater, dirty blond, I thought it would be ok. (I even called the co. to verify the consiquences but they didn't tell me my hair would end up Bozo the clown Orange! It took a year to get all the red out of my hair. One hair color specialists said not to use temp. dyes. I want to be able to go back to platinum this comming summer but I don't want to have to go through all that stripping to get the red out. Is there ANYONE out there that knows of a store bought (beauty suppy stores %26amp; on-line stores too) product that will be less trouble when it come time to rid the red?

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

well if you want a temporary color that will wash out in around 10 shampoos use herbal esscences colorflirts. They are sold for around 10 bucks (CDN) I have hair down to the middle of my back and I had enough mousse i coulda used it for at least 2 applications.

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

go to a hair salon. truuust me.

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

I really don't know cuz I havn't had that problem with temp dyes

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

I got my hair died red recently but a salonist. just go to a salon. it's way easier.

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

so what your saying is, you dyed your hair red and it went horribly, horribly wrong, it took you a year to correct it, and now you want to do it again?????????? no matter how temporary a colour is, on platinum blonde hair there will always be a lot of colour that your hair has absorbed. i suggest you just leave it.

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

loreal lesblondess there are only 2 shades light and lighter. I 've done the same thing and can't afford a salon either. OH you will need 2 bottles and it's permanant, but it works

I'm platinum %26amp; want red hair BUT ONLY for season.?

If going to a Salon is not an option then red is not an option for you. Red is one of the hardest colors to accomplish on hair, it is also one of the hardest to color over/repair so if you mess it up you are screwed! Save up some cash and go to the salon.

How can i get my hair to look good up?

How can i get my hair to look good up?

Hair gel lets u customize it

How can i get my hair to look good up?

First of all make sure that you look good with an up - do hairstyle. To answer your question, just take more time doing it. Looking good doesn't come easy. If you want your hair to look good - then take the time to make it look the way you want it. After you put it up the weay you think you want it, change it up until you can't change it anymore. with me, I usually want it to look a cartain way, but realize it's better another, just try to create a new look, personalyzed to your face.

vanessa hudgens has cute hair. its sorta emo if you actully think and look at it.

in the road to hsm2 her bangs are in her face and her hair is chopy

Does any one know a cute hair cut?

What is an emo look? Is your hair thick, thin, curly, wavy, straight?

Edit:

You say thin hair, but is it curly? Wavy? Straight? and what is emo?

Does any one know a cute hair cut?

What does "emo sort of look" mean?

Does any one know a cute hair cut?

everyone have dark hair with blond highlights. not really but too many people do.

just leave it dark and maybe get slightly lighter shade from your natural color of highlights (wow i make it sound confusing)

layers would look good and side bangs too

Does any one know a cute hair cut?

cut all your hair and you will feel better....

chinatown station please mind the platform gap

kotacina harap berhati hati diruang platform

Does any one know a cute hair cut?

I'm not sure how thin is 'thin' but I'd give it some layers and side swept bangs. Then, go out and buy some big sexy hair spray to poof it up :] (and just in case you didn't know, 'big sexy hair' is the brand)

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

Well, my hair was died kinda golden blond i spose, but i had bad light brown roots so I dyed it this morning. It doesnt look appalling, but I miss the golden tones my hair had before. The dye really was the closest I could find (my hair went golden blond before I didnt dye it- so I couldnt use a previous dye)

So, how could I maybe get my hair a bit lighter? I have natural highlights which show through whatever dye I use, so how could I get them a bit lighter?

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

if it want dark after you colored it ,,it will wash out and will bring the previous color,, but will take some time,, but if u want something now,, I'll go get clarifying shampoo.. which removes products build ups and etc.. shampoo with that and leave it in for 5 minutes.. and rinse and condition.. it will remove access color build ups as well.. this way u are not damaging ur hair,,

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

Try putting lemon juice in your hair.

It's a natural highlighter.

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

Go to a salon and see if they will put some highlights in your hair.

If you want an overall appearance of lighter hair do an all over FINE weave.

please don't put more box color on.

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

Go to a salon and tell them. they should know exactly what to do and if they dont just tell them to put some very light nice highlights in your hair

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

please tell me u didn't u know u can't get it of now only if u bleach it but it will totally ruine ur hair trust me i dyed my hair darker too and now the salon ladies said my hair was abused, i put baking soda, bleach...etc and now i look like a dalmation best thing for u to do now is to get a trim and buy a cleanseing shampoo like head %26amp; shoulder or sauve make sure it says cleansing that willl kind of get ur color lighter.

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

You haaaave to use bleach, unless you used a non-permanent dye. If your going to bleach it, go to a salon to do it. Don't colour your hair agian because you cant lighten by putting colour over colour. If its non-permanent let it wash out, or use Sun-in (a spray in you hair product that lightens your hair gradually with heat). Dont use lemon juice though! The acid is dangerous to your hair and will dry it out. Lemon juice works some times but leaves your hair feeling like straw.

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

I thought of lemon too,but what if it reacts with the chemicals in the dye??

there used to be "rescue" products you could buy to lighten it,I worked in a salon years ago but can't remember what we used, best ask a professional.

do you live in a sunny country?

that always helps!

Hair dye went a bit too dark...?

Use lemon juice or maby even sun-in. hope this helps!

GUYS DO YOU think crimped hair is sexyer on a girl, or curled hair? On blonds especially?

I'd appreciate your input on this matter, cheers!

ps. girls can answer too

GUYS DO YOU think crimped hair is sexyer on a girl, or curled hair? On blonds especially?

Personally, I like crimped hair, but curled is fine too.

Yes girls do look alot more sexy in crimped/would like to see your crimpted!!! smile

GUYS DO YOU think crimped hair is sexyer on a girl, or curled hair? On blonds especially?

You didnt mention how long your hair is...I think curled long hair on a blonde is the hottest...

GUYS DO YOU think crimped hair is sexyer on a girl, or curled hair? On blonds especially?

Curled hair is sexier, especially on blondes! It gives alot more fullness and it makes for a healthier head of hair. It's alot more sexier for a guy when you are looking down on him and he has that fullness of your hair around him,,besides that heard crimping your hair can break the ends more then curling and eventually it gets all frizzy.

purple shampoo. like shimmering lights or even something generic as long as its PURPLE =]

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

dye?

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

just dye it

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

Purple shampoo is definately a great idea, it boosts the blonde and reduces brassiness so your hair doesn't look yellow- whether its dyed or not. Also if you want to really amp up the blondeness try getting a few really light blonde foils throughout your hair.

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

you can use beer my sister used it before.

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

its winter so this aint gonna b of much help 2 u i dont think....but if u are naturally blonde go in the sun at summertime =) id luv me hair 2 be as blonde as it was wen i was little tho its still really blonde !!

How can you make your hair look blonder :)?

If you are a natural blond ( NO color at all) use Sun-IN I used it for years. You can use it temporally in the winter until summer then lay out in summer. You can spray it on your wet hair and lay out or use a hair dryer to lighten your hair. It will not be a dramatic Blond and you will have to do more then one coat, I would do mine until I like the color. But you will be blonder after a few times with out the expensive highlights or hair color and without the damage either. I will warn again don't do this if you have colored you hair, a friend did and her hair turned orange. Otherwise it is a great product for subtle natural looking hightlights.

What is the best do it at home bleaching product for already died hair.?

I bleached and then dyed my hair blue a couple weeks ago.The blue is a washout prouduct but some of the blonder areas in my hair took the blue realy well.So I am left with blue blond green and brown hair.I want to go Gwen Stafonie blond.I need alittle advice on what non profeshonall prouduct to use.Thanks...

What is the best do it at home bleaching product for already died hair.?

You're not going to want to hear this, but go to a pro.

I've tried every "max blonding" kit under the planet, and even though they may claim they can "even turn black hair to platinum blonde!" it just turned my brown hair orange.

It's not fun, being a walking example of the only truth of the hair-coloring world...

"GO TO A PRO!"

good luck with whatever you choose.

What is the best do it at home bleaching product for already died hair.?

go to a pro or live with a disaster sorry but its TRUE

What is the best do it at home bleaching product for already died hair.?

BLEEEEEACH

What is the best do it at home bleaching product for already died hair.?

Blonde hair takes longer for hair dye to come out of. Especially bleached blonde hair. It will take some time. I would recommend you to wait before you re bleach your hair.

You can go to any beauty supply store and get bleach powder and cream and it may say for proffesional use only but they sell it to the public. It's easy to use, I use it all the time and I'm on 14. Bleaching is generally told to do only by professionals.

Trying to fix un-even hair color?

Ok, so my original hair color is blond, then I decided to dye it black. Looked great but over time faded terribly to a brown color and it was very un-even. So I decided I wanted to dye my hair a un-natural color ( blue) So I bleached my hair. Egh, it turned the top of my hair a cartoon-character sunshine-yellow blond and the bottom only lightened up. I dyed it burgandy which kinda hides the unevenness but its still uneven and I stilll want to dye it blue. If I dye it black and about a week later bleach it blond would it be even?

I know I should probbably go to a professional but my mom says they I can do any thing at the sink they can at a shop...ya right. If I save up the money to go to a professional what do you think they will do? Strip my hair? Is that bad for my hair?

Trying to fix un-even hair color?

you can strip your hair at home with products from sally beauty supply, but your hair will be orange, so you'll need to redye it right away, unless you like the orange hair look. but if you do intend on removing your haircolor or even bleaching it again, be careful not to get any on the new growth of hair and keep the bleach about an inch away from your scalp. your body heat affacts the processing time (it shortens it) so when you get the bleach too close to your hair, it ends up way lighter than the rest of your hair. and stripping does damage your hair, but not as much as bleaching it does. i've stripped my hair three times now, and (dyed it immediately afterwards like it says you can) and i still have hair. it's a little drier for a day or two, but i just deep condition it and i'm good to go. you could also try gradually removing the haircolor (like i'm doing now) with something like colorfix to reduce the damage. so over a period of a few weeks i'm taking my hair from medium to dark brown to orange, and then i'm just going to strip the rest of it with loreal haircolor remover, take it to a orange-yellow or just yellow, and dye it blonde. if you go to a professional, i'll say they'd either strip it, or gradually lighten your hair to a color that you will be able to put the blue over.

Blond or Brown?

Im not sure if I should go from blond to light brown hair. Fancy a change.I have sun kissed skin(not from sun beds).green/blue eyes. long hair with big kiss curls in it.what do you think...

Blond or Brown?

Go to brown... its easier to keep it and looks good

Blond or Brown?

What about red? That is the most interesting and rare (excluding brights!) you can get!!

Blond or Brown?

go brown!!!!! hope that helped!!!!!

Blond or Brown?

Go with whatever you were born with. Dying damages your hair... trust me, I have experience in that area.

Blond or Brown?

well me personally i'm browned haired, but if i was u i would go for a change

Blond or Brown?

Yep, time for a change. You might look really good with light brown hair, so try it on !

Blond or Brown?

I think that dying your hair a light brown would make your eyes stand out more, which guys love.

Blond or Brown?

Having been a hairdresser for over 20 years I find that block colour(dyed hair all one colour) looks very unatural. If you look at natural coloured hair you will see that there are different natural tones whereas dyed hair does not give this. Therefore I would suggest a few blond high lights and some darker maybe mid to light brown or golden low lights.

Blond or Brown?

brown

Blond or Brown?

go brown!!!!!!!!!

Blond or Brown?

Light brown would be pretty.

Blond or Brown?

brown, more color.

Blond or Brown?

brown (much more healthy looking)

Blond or Brown?

I think you should go brunette.

I've got green eyes and brown hair, and it really makes your eyes stand out. You should go for it!

Blond or Brown?

If you are good looking, it doesn't matter!

Blond or Brown?

Keep it light. Blond hair is really nice

Blond or Brown?

BROWN!

How do I fix this: to much blond after highlights?

I did a pull thru cap highlight kit, and my husband pulled the back for me ! jhe obviously pulled thru to much hair because the back of my hair is all light blond and the front is med brown with highlights like I wanted. Bleach it all and dye it dark blond, lowlight the back? dye dark and rehighlight PLEASE HELP! i dont wanna fry my hair!

How do I fix this: to much blond after highlights?

Same thing happened to me, but I had cheetah spots. What you need to do is A) don't do anything yourself, especially bleach it. and B) go to a salon and have your hair dresser dye it a dark, dish-water blonde, and re highlight it. I did this and my hair wasn't fried, but to make sure don't blow dry your hair for a while, just let it hair dry, and only wash it every other day so it doesn't dry out.

It's my first time dyeing my hair. What brand of pink hair dye should i use?

I want to dye the bottom layers of my hair pink. My hair is naturally black so I know I'll have to bleach it to get the bright pink that I want. I plan to get it done in a salon since it is my first time and If I tried it myself it would probably go horribly wrong.

I was wondering, which products do people out there recommend? The 2 main ones that I know of are Manic Panic and Special Effects. I have heard that SFX atomic pink is extremely bright and will last a long time. Has anyone used this before? and if you have, will the pink ever fade completely to the bleached blond? or will my hair always have a light pink?

I'm worried about how much these dyes will bleed. Will I stain my pillow case/towels/clothes? How much does the dye bleed and for how long will it go on?

Finally, I live in Toronto, Canada so if anyone knows where i can purchase the dye that would be most helpful.

Any other tips on how to properly care for my hair after i dye it would be great. Thanks!!!

It's my first time dyeing my hair. What brand of pink hair dye should i use?

manic panic is the best for unnatural colors

It's my first time dyeing my hair. What brand of pink hair dye should i use?

Shoppers has manic panic - at least it does here. My roomate used to use Kool-aid. Worked well but got all over everything.

It's my first time dyeing my hair. What brand of pink hair dye should i use?

Get "Wella - Magma" colours! They're special made for dark and black hair. You don't楹揾ave to lighten up your hair first and the results are just great. I used to use it when I had black hair. It does bleed a little bit but the colour doesn't change and it lasts a while. You won't get anything on your pillows or your clothes .... it's just when you wash it. If you want pink you should use number 56!

Oh and think you can get it at any hair supply shop!

Have fun

Hair advice?

i have brown hair w/ rele faded blond highlights and i am going to target tonite to get an allover dark color and i dont know what color to get. ne suggestions?

Hair advice?

i have the best advice the highlighted area may turn out the base color of the color u decided to buy b/c u stripped all the natural red pigment from the hair to hold a dark color in ur hair

Hair advice?

buy something in cairol or feria..they are usually pretty true to the box colors...dont buy and ash though..will leave you with a greenish hue over the blond buy a golden or a neutral in browns

Hair advice?

To make it look as natural as possible, match it to your eyebrows or as close as possible. If you have any of your natural hair color roots showing I would match it to that, only if your natural hair is darker than what you hair color is now

Hair advice?

Instead of going to target try a Sally's Beauty Supply. They can help get the best color that will match your color. If you pick the wrong color it could come out orange and brassy. You might have brown hair but there are different colors of brown hair. I have a ashy brown and you might have a blonde brown or something like that. Try to match your roots with the sample hair color that will work as well. Don't match the bottom of your hair to the sample hair because the bottom of your hair has been exposed to the sun so it is lighter so go for the roots. Just be careful on the color that you choose. I hope I helped.

Stringing? Threading? Hair Removal Question...?

I have very light blond, soft and downy hair on the sides of my face. Not whiskers or anything, and not too heavy. I've heard there's something called "stringing" or "threading" which can remove it. Does anyone know anything about this? How do you find a place that does this?

Are there other hair removal methods? I think waxing would work, but I'm afraid it might be overkill (and hurt!) Plucking is out of the question, and I don't think shaving it is a good idea, though I did take my husband's electric razor to it once which caused little tiny fluffs of hair to float around. I've heard that shaving hair can make it rougher so I definitely don't want that to happen.

Help me ladies!

Stringing? Threading? Hair Removal Question...?

I don't have the time to buy or use store-bought kits, and I don't like to shave.

You could always go to a beauty salon and ask about threading, but there are many places to learn yourself. I do threading on myself, and it's really quick and easy when you get the hang of it, and grabs the finest hairs, which I find makes it better than waxing. Plus it's not as painful.

It's sort of hard to describe the technique in writing, so here's a good website with pictures if you want to know. It's the best one I found. http://www.indiaparenting.com/beauty/art...

They say it's good for facial hair but I think it is alright for body hair too.

Once again, if you don't want to go through that trouble you can go to a beauty salon. It's becoming very popular, so you're more likely to find one that threads than one that doesn't. Just ask your local salon!

I've tried threading on my super coarse hair and my very fine hair, and they both work, so threading should work for you.

Good luck!!!

Stringing? Threading? Hair Removal Question...?

Threading is realllly good! You can get your whole face threaded. My cousin got it done and her skin looked so radient!!!! it's affordable and easy. =] it doens't hurt that much when you first get it.

Stringing? Threading? Hair Removal Question...?

More of a comment than an answer, but I have the same deal with the light, soft blonde hairs on my face. No one has noticed them, not even my boyfriend. I'd recommend that unless they begin to darken, just leave them be. I worry that they may appear dark and coarse as they grow back in.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

i just put together a bottle of lemon juice. I have dark blonde hair and i'm hoping this will help bring out my natural blonde color. Is this just a mythe or no?

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

Years ago I used to put lemons on my hair after I washed it. Then I sit in the sun for say 20-30 mintues, I have diswater blond hair, and YES it did help to lighten it, I feell the best thing to do is take 5-8 lemons ---No seeds or Pulp.....than on clean wet hair rince your hair in colder water, than slowly message the lemons and some water onto the hair , on the top of our skull and message the ends in the mixture. A MUST no artificale lite SO GET OUT IN THE BRIGht SUN SHiNE... in time you will notice ahighlites. %26lt;%26lt; A tip is use cammille shampoo for blonds, I think Aveea sells it.%26gt;%26gt; Try to stay away from wash in colors, youll only get orange hair and DRY hair. Good luck %26lt; OCEAN %26gt; do the lemon once a week no more than 2 times a week

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

yes, if u stand under the sun for a while.. also make your hair smell too.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

it will help as long as you put lemon juice in your hair then sit outside in the sun. it bleaches it

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

It's only a myth and the acid of the lemon can really damage your hair and take out it's natural oils.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

Put lemon juice on your hair and get out in the sun. It needs both together but yes it does make it go a lighter blonde

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

its Noooooo myth (spelled correctly) just dont leave it in to long or by by blondey hello white hair

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

I've heard of it working and not working. I myself have never tried it, but it's your hair if it doesn't work and leaves your hair looking like a stack of hay.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

they say it does, but so will staying in the sun a few hrs a day.and so will a peroxide and water solution.tricky thing though, if you put it on at the roots all over then eventually it would look like you dyed it when the new hair grows in,i'd just take certain pieces/strands and wet them or put it on a comb and just comb it here or there like streaking.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

Yes, with lots of sunlight.

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

we used to use lemon juice all the time, and lay in the sun.

there was a product called sun in back when and that was

pretty much lemon juice

Does lemon in your hair make it blonder?

Hey!

i have really light red hair with blonde high lites. Putting lemon juice in your hair is definitely not a myth. I do it all the time just sit out in the sun for like 10-30 minutes and wash it out after in the shower. I guarantee it will get lighter!

I hope all goes well,

Katie

Should i change my hair color?

first i am going to have to strip my hair to my natural hair color (light brown), then i am going to put twelve blond highlights in my hair for now. do you think it would look okay? will this damage my hair really bad?

Should i change my hair color?

If you STRIP your hair, it will not go back to it's original color. It will actually strip your hair of pigment and turn it orange, white, grey or a color inbetween. Yes, it is very hard on the hair and yes it CAN damage your hair.

Adding highlights to stripped hair will look horrible if you don't use a base color and toner.

If you want to go blond, do it gradually or go to a beautician who knows what they are doing.

Should i change my hair color?

MOO!

Should i change my hair color?

that will probably damage your hair pretty bad unless your hair is in REALLY good condion.

Should i change my hair color?

NO..... Shave it All OFF.... like Britney SPEARS!

Thanks RR

Should i change my hair color?

it will probably dry it out.

Should i change my hair color?

stripping your hair fries it really bad I would wait a little while before putting highlights in ask you hair stylist.

Should i change my hair color?

It would look awesome with a bag over your head.

Should i change my hair color?

yes. :)

and no i think it shouldnt be damaged if it is done correctly and maintained well id say get a pro to do it and always use tons of conditioner

Should i change my hair color?

it would look awsome

Should i change my hair color?

Probably, but if it makes you happy, go for it! I always wanted blonde highlights (I sandy-brown hair).

Should i change my hair color?

Stripping your hair to get to the natural color is incredibly damaging and not recommended. It's also not really possible as it will strip your hair of ALL color. How about having your colorist do a weave with your hair mixing 2-3 colors that you like such as light brown and blond? This would minimize damage and create a similar effect.

Should i change my hair color?

We won't know! You gave no information about yourself!

Should i change my hair color?

wouldn't it be easier to just wad up your hair into a ball and shave all the rest off.......

Should i change my hair color?

It doesn't sound like it will look very natural and will definitely damage your hair, but if you are looking for something different, you should try it. You can always cut your hair short when you get sick of the dye job.

Should i change my hair color?

yep, it'll get damaged

ask your stylist for a good shampoo and conditioner that can be used on color treated hair

Should i change my hair color?

Consult your hairdresser how best to go about achieving the result you want. As for damaging your hair - yes, real bad! Any colouring means more chemicals everytime - that's real bad, and the end result is your hair will be bleached white, and needs colouring permanently, unfortunately.

Should i change my hair color?

First of all, I hope your hair color will come out when having it professionally stripped. I had died my hair black at one time and had lots of trouble getting it out even when getting it stripped. As for how it would look, visit www.clairol.com and download a picture of yourself or use one of their models to see what kind of style or color and highlights you would like. I use this everytime I would like to try something different. Hope this helps.

Should i change my hair color?

Any artifical coloring/blonding etc. will definately do some harm or other to your hair %26amp; head scalp.

Why not strip it then let it rest for a while like few weeks, before putting on twelve blond highlights. Do go to professionals for these, they will give u a list of good moisturizers %26amp; tips within a range of budget so it won't dry out.

Wouldn't recommend u to do it yourself. But do ask your family/friends if u look well with those highlights, since they know your skin tones, face shape etc. well.

Should i change my hair color?

A few highlights should not damage your hair, make sure to use real good conditioners

Can i bleach my hair 2 days after dying it?

My hair is light brown and i dyed it to a lighter brown yesterday but i don't like the color :( can i bleach my hair to make it blond or it is not healthy for my hair?

Can i bleach my hair 2 days after dying it?

The chemicals might seriously damage your hair. I would recommend waiting a few days, take showers whenever you can. Maybe the color will fade slightly. Then bleach it and use a really good hair moisturizer to keep it from drying and frizzing out. Best Answer??

Can i bleach my hair 2 days after dying it?

you can do this but it will damage your hair, just make sure you dont do anything to it for like 3 months and get a good condition. oh and go to a proffessional

Can i bleach my hair 2 days after dying it?

go to a salon....color removal is the most difficult thing to do right...I would recommend a heavy highlight.

Can i bleach my hair 2 days after dying it?

you have to wait a while because that is really bad for your hair

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

I herd that if you use honey as a shampoo it will make your hair a lighter color [ blond ]

If not do you know of any at home products to use to make hair lighter or blonde?

Thanks =]

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

Get out in the sun, get your hair wet, spray regular lemon juice all over your hair and let the sun dry it. It works, I've done it for years.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

I have never heard of this. Lemons or peroxide are the only two home products I know of that will lighten hair.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

no, that definatly wouldnt work. just get some SunIn for god's sake!

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

Im not really sure. But if you put lemon juice in your hair and then like lay out in the sun or be in the sun for a while it will make your hair lighter

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

No that won't work.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

i would assume that it would be difficult to get out, but it might make your hair shinier? Bleach makes hair blonde, but not the best way to go... try a kit at your discount store.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

Chamomile is probably the most popular herbal hair colorant among blondes. A weekly rinse with this herb tea will also remedy the brown streaking that results from overexposure to the sun, and brighten "dishwater blonde" hair.

To prepare a chamomile rinse, steep half a cup of the flowers in a quart of boiling water for half an hour. Then strain the mixture, and let it cool while you shampoo. Now, pour the brew through your towel-dried hair at least 15 times (catching it in a basin each time, in order to use it again). Wring the excess moisture out and leave the solution in your hair for a quarter of an hour before rinsing it out with clear water.

Don't limit your herbal experiments to chamomile, however. Just about any yellow-blossomed flower or herb can be used on blonde hair, including calendula (it's also called pot marigold), mullein blooms and leaves, yellow broom flowers, saffron, turmeric and quassia chips.

Lemon is also a time-honored hair lightener. The juice of two of the citrus fruits, strained into a quart of water, makes an excellent rinse that can be used in the same way as the chamomile preparation. Try to dry your hair in the sun after using a lemon rinse, in order to get the most from the treatment's lightening effect.

Another native dye favored by blondes is prepared from rhubarb root, and it'll add attractive honey gold tones to light brown hair, as well. To put those glints in your locks, pour three cups of hot water over four tablespoons of chopped rhubarb root, and simmer the concoction for 20 minutes. Strain it, pour it through your freshly shampooed hair 15 or more times, rinse in clear water and again, weather permitting, dry it in the sun to strengthen the effect of the dyeing agent

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

i dont know if honey works, but buy beach blonde

its not expensive but im not sure where to get it.

you put itin your hair when you go outside on a sunny day. its sun activated!!! i use it all summerand my hair gets so much lighter

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

i've never heard of that, and it would be a sticky mess,

but eggs does, i know that for sure...hope this helped: )

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

No but it makes it stickier

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

bleach or peroxide,

Honey is going to make your sink or tub sticky. But I wouldn't use bleach either. Get you some dye from your local drug store or beauty supply.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

No you need an acid to lighten your hair.

Lemon in your hair for a few minutes will lighten it.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

no honey dsnt lighten hair it is used to make it shinier and softer. basically it repares your hair.

to lighten it the cammomile tea thing works. i use lemon juice. i just spray it on in the morning and b4 i go to bed and my hair has lightened in a week. buuuut with the lemon juice i have to warn that it acts like hairspray so its gonna make your hair dry and sticky while its in.

for those with oily hair its fine bc it makes it like thicker i love it.

and dont expect drastic change it highlights your hair it dsnt color it.

Does showering in honey make your hair lighter?

Not unless you want to have sticky hair
