i just put together a bottle of lemon juice. I have dark blonde hair and i'm hoping this will help bring out my natural blonde color. Is this just a mythe or no?

Years ago I used to put lemons on my hair after I washed it. Then I sit in the sun for say 20-30 mintues, I have diswater blond hair, and YES it did help to lighten it, I feell the best thing to do is take 5-8 lemons ---No seeds or Pulp.....than on clean wet hair rince your hair in colder water, than slowly message the lemons and some water onto the hair , on the top of our skull and message the ends in the mixture. A MUST no artificale lite SO GET OUT IN THE BRIGht SUN SHiNE... in time you will notice ahighlites. %26lt;%26lt; A tip is use cammille shampoo for blonds, I think Aveea sells it.%26gt;%26gt; Try to stay away from wash in colors, youll only get orange hair and DRY hair. I've heard of it working and not working. I myself have never tried it, but it's your hair if it doesn't work and leaves your hair looking like a stack of hay.

they say it does, but so will staying in the sun a few hrs a day.and so will a peroxide and water solution.tricky thing though, if you put it on at the roots all over then eventually it would look like you dyed it when the new hair grows in,i'd just take certain pieces/strands and wet them or put it on a comb and just comb it here or there like streaking.

i have really light red hair with blonde high lites. Putting lemon juice in your hair is definitely not a myth. I do it all the time just sit out in the sun for like 10-30 minutes and wash it out after in the shower. I guarantee it will get lighter!
