Blonding hair?

Okay, i have dyed brown coppery coloured hair. i want to blond it using a blonding kit from the store, on the box where it says the recommended colours, it says/shows mine wound be okay and it would reach my desired shade. But my mum still thinks i shouldnt because itll end up orange, even though my hair is already dyed coppery brown orange colour. So should i go through with the home blonding kit or spend the extra and get it done professionally? i really want to do it by tomorrow (schools starting)

Blonding hair?

you need an expert so you will have to go to school tomorrow and then get somone who knows what they are doing to help you. you may have to strip it and start over. i wound up with orange, so you're mom is right. don't risk it.

You should get a blonding kit if you really want it, be careful, also buy a bleaching kit in case it comes out orange the bleaching kit will fix it...i think it would be good with highlights...have you thought of that?? the boxes in the store is the same as the professionals...i'm going to beauty school right now...lol...

To keep it from going orange, you'll have to bleach it, blonding itself will only make it orange. Also, if you want to take the copper underones out of your hair completely, use a henna kit. Because otherwise the look won't work right, blonde highlights in copper brown hair isn't a great combination.
