Need help with temporary hair dye?

Ok. I have dark blond hair, but I always wanted to have drown hair, so I want to dye it. I want to start with a temporary dye, to see how it works. Do you know what stuff is good? Any advise is helpful. Thank you

Clairol's Loving Care and Loreal's Color Pulse. Both have no ammonia or peroxide and they wash out in 8-12 shampoos. Of course the longer you leave it in the bolder it will be. Because there are no chemicals it won't damage your hair if you accidentally leave it in too long. I've left Color Pulse in for an hour and my hair was fine (it was Red Pulse and it made the color a lot more vibrant and red, rather than pink).

Also the more you do them the more color you'll have and the longer it will stay in because the color just builds up. Make sure you use a color safe shampoo to help it last longer.

Color Pulse is good. That's what I used.

That stuff Sarah Jessica Parker advertises - "trust them, they're experts" - left my hair pretty coarse feeling. Product has Fench name, can't recall it.

If you can afford it and/or want to, go to a salon and ask about getting a temporary color rinse. Prices vary depending on hair length and location, but the results should last anywhere between 3-7 months. Or, just go to your local Rite-Aid or Longs, or whatever drugstore you have, and look at the selection. Look for dye made by a brand you trust, like L'Oreal, and go for it!
