hi there....black is really hard to die over so i think it is best to go to a hair dresser..using head and shoulders shampoo fades the black colour eventually which makes it easier to colour over..but if you have just recently coloured it black it is very likely going to come out orange if you try to die it blonde....good luck with you hair....

you should use a color remover before you color it again. This will make it orangy then you can deposit color onto it depending on what shade you want. But to get rid of black you are going to damage your hair

go to a salon! your dealing with a corrective color. if your hair is black on the ends you need to bleach it out to lighten it. color does not lift out color! color layers and gets darker. but you dont want to bleach the roots so it needs to be done by someone else. your option is to just touch up roots with dark to match ends or to go to a stylist, suck it up and pay for the corrective color, then go to a stylist from there on out. the funny thing about people coloring hair themselves is they think their saving money, but in the long run they;re spending more because a corrective color is way more expensive than a regular color. if money is the issue, talk to your stylist about products to use to extend the life of your color. depending on the color, sometimes you can get 6-9 weeks out of a color before needing it redone (average time between colors is 4-6 weeks) as long as you dont mind seeing some roots the last few weeks. good luck!!
