How do I style my hair to be like Jason Dolley?

It's... yeah I know it's childish or whatever but it's cool! It's like against the gravity lol.

My friend told me about perming or blow dry it but I don't know nor understand the specific ways of it. Anyone who've done it before?

Tell me how long should we wait until the length is enuff (my hair now is like typical Jesse McCartney's hairstyle without that loooooong bangs)?

and what should we do instead of going to the stylist (I'm not into barber things... :S). Will blow-dry the hair do? How should I blow-dry it and how's the steps? How long it takes till I can see the result?

P.S. I don't care about the blond, but my hair is now rich brown and I love it.. I just care about the blowy-style... Thanks y'all... :D

Looks to me like a shag cut. Your hair would have to be down to at least the bottom of your eyebrows over the right eye, and down to the apples of your cheeks on your left side of your face.

The rest would have to be as long as to the nape of your neck at the back, going in sort of a bowl shape around your face.

Then all it'd take is some blowdrying (your hair would have to be thick and fairly straight for this cut to work), and shaping it into that sideswept thing he has going on.

The back has a bit of a flip and curve to it, not just hanging straight and boring, so you're going to also need to shape and style it with a bit of a mousse product (for hold, not so much to slick it down like gel would), and to blowdry that into place.
