My birthday is coming up and i want to dye my hair platinum blond or really blond...I have many mixed highlights and have dyed my hair a few times but never completely blonde...what do i need to know?

I did the underneath of my hair platinum once and it cost me about 80-90 dollars. Then I had to get the roots done every 6 weeks after that and that was another 50 dollars each time. It's a lot of upkeep! I think you should at least try it once, you can always dye over it.
